Amir Tsarfati was born in Jerusalem, Israel, to a Jewish family. He grew up in that region and has lived in Israel all his life. While fulfilling his military duty, Amir served as the deputy governor of Jericho, and was part of the unit that negotiated and coordinated with the Palestinians during the Israeli withdrawal from the city. Following his military service, Amir studied at Israel’s School of Tourism at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He worked as a licensed tour guide for Sar El Tours and Conferences, and was eventually promoted to CEO.

While guiding dozens of church groups from all over the world, God convicted him of the great need – particularly within Evangelical Christianity – to explain Israel and its role in God’s plan. In 2001, Amir founded Behold Israel while maintaining his career in tourism. But it wasn’t until 2014 that it became a registered non-profit, allowing Amir to fulfill a greater calling for his life. That is when Behold Israel became a major provider of worldwide real-time access to reliable sources of news and information about Israel from within the powerful context of Bible history and prophecy.

Over the last two decades, Amir’s message has expanded from tour buses in Israel to large platforms around the globe, including conferences, church visitations, and an ever-growing online teaching ministry. Amir is now the author of several books.

Amir is married to Miriam, and together they have four children. His home overlooks the valley of Megiddo (Armageddon), which is a constant reminder of the call that the Lord has placed on him to teach from the Bible what God’s plans are for the end of times.

Pastor Mike Golay is the Director of Operations of Behold Israel. Before this, Mike was the Lead Pastor of Friendship Church in Shakopee, Minnesota, for over 17 years. In addition to his role with Behold Israel, he serves as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserve.

Pastor Mike lived and worked in Israel for over eight years and has led numerous ministry teams, including Jesus Film projects in the Galilee region. He is also proficient in Hebrew and has extensive experience with Jewish culture.

Additionally, due to his knowledge and passion for Bible teaching and Israel’s role in prophecy, he frequently teaches in churches, conferences, and Israel tours. He and his Israeli wife have three children and reside in Minnesota, USA.

Barry and Teri Stagner grew up and reside in Orange County, CA. and have been married since 1977. Barry is the Sr. Pastor of Calvary Chapel Tustin, Ca. and the featured speaker on the nationally broadcast radio program, “The Truth about God.” Barry is also the host of the internationally broadcast internet television program, “World News Briefing” and author of 4 books to date. Barry and Teri frequently speak at conferences and retreats addressing the topics of marriage, ministry or prophecy. They have two married children and four beautiful grandchildren.

Pastor Gary Hamrick has been in full-time ministry since 1987 when he first served as a youth pastor to high school teens. Then in 1991, he began pastoring Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA when all 18 charter members asked him to become the first pastor of this new, start-up church. Today, Cornerstone is the church home to several thousand weekly worshipers, and it is Pastor Gary’s desire to equip them through the teaching of God’s Word, relating the truth of the Bible to everyday life in practical, relevant, and often humorous ways.

Gary received Christ as his personal Lord and Savior when he was in high school and soon thereafter wrestled with a “call” into the ministry. He initially denied that calling and instead pursued a communications degree at American University with aspirations of becoming a broadcast journalist. However, after his sophomore year in college, he surrendered to that calling on his life, changed schools, completed a Bachelor of Biblical Studies, and was ordained by Pastor Chuck Smith and the Calvary Chapel Association.

Pastor Gary has been married to Terri since 1987 and they have three grown children (who also serve in ministry) and five grandchildren. Terri volunteers as the Director of Women’s Ministry leading weekly Bible studies and prayer meetings with the women of Cornerstone.

Pastoring in the shadow of the Nation’s Capital has allowed Pastor Gary on different occasions to meet and pray with Cabinet Secretaries, Supreme Court Justices, members of Congress, and the Israeli Ambassador. Pastor Gary is on the Advisory Board for The Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C. He also serves as the Chief Chaplain for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (the largest Sheriff’s Office in Virginia with 600 sworn deputies and 200 civilian personnel). His radio broadcast “Cornerstone Connection” can be heard weekdays across the country in 27 states and the District of Columbia.

Pastor Gary is an avid news “junkie” and enjoys fishing, camping, playing sports, woodworking, umpiring high school baseball, and especially spending time with his family.
